      Pros

      Great Benefits packages. Access to world class customer base. Oracle has great and knowledgeable people to work with. Great opportunity to travel. Generally, there is a collaborative culture and people are usually willing to help newcomers

      Cons

      Lack of innovation resulting from relentless focus on licence sales. The organisation is very political. This can be a plus as it enables people good at building relationship to succeed. However, those who are less social and more diligent may find progress difficult.

      Large company with a number of career opportunites internally, having Oracle on your CV is a good thing

      Cons

      Revenue focused organisation, very little customer focus. As a result customers resent Oracle consultants being brought into the project. The company has grown far too big through aquisition, as a result there is little belief in job security.
