Pros

NONE - the health insurance is great The potential to earn $$$ is there but see below

Cons

Bad management Poor systems Koolaid is all lies Your biggest competitor is Oracle Worst part of the sales job is trying to book a deal A FAT company who tells a lot of lies to it staff who then go to market with the wrong message / lies to their customers They have an integrity matters campaign which is led by senior management which is the biggest load of rubbish as the word INTEGRITY is the antithesis of how the company culture is... Back stabbing of colleagues Complex rules regulations and procedures and admin heavy systems which takes away from your ability to sell Customers coming last, employees second last Do the dirty now apologies later (if caught) Promises renaged on XLOB politics and infighting are closer to the real company culture Toe the line or your life is made very difficult If you ask for assistance from support areas you are a pain and creating work for them....REALLY You need a BIG gun, a horse and a holster to fit in there is so many cowboys in the place. Yeeeehawwww!!

ODP Update- 6 Months in

Pros

BUPA, reps in the odp team minus management. Can't think of anything else for ODP

Cons

If you are reading this because you are looking to apply for a role. I beg you not to take the offer. These people are inhumane. They will show you dreams that are all lies. They don't care about you. They will hire you because you are an experienced field based sales rep and make you get on the phone like you are an inside sales. Basically you will be getting paid a rep's salary to do an inside sales job. You will need to make 90 minutes of calls a day and build around $50k worth of pipe every week regardless of how dead your accounts are. The mid market does not want to hear from us, they don't like us. Customers know how we operate and know our tricks. They would rather be with AWS or Microsoft or any other vendor for that matter. The person tasked to put the tech team together quit after 3 months in. Now that he's leaving, he's been tasked to fire reps left right centre on his way out. He couldn't deal with his boss. No one can. If he can't take it, there is no way you are going to survive here. You are better off at a different company but not at ODP at Oracle. I am already looking around for jobs and will be out of here asap. DO NOT TAKE A JOB WITH ODP TECH (IAAS/PAAS).

Pros

Still the best Cloud ERP on the market, but as Oracle shifts the future focus, it will become a laggard like everything else Oracle touches.

Cons

This was once a great, small/medium software company with drive and enthusiam. Just a few months after the acquisition, and the magic has dwindled.
