      Poorly managed Development group

      Pros

      Company is doing well. Benefits are great. Salary is competitive in most cases.

      Cons

      If you are not in a development group in the core Oracle business or happen to be one of the group result from acquisition, the management may not be very good. I had a personal experience of working in the Oracle VM group and the management was a complete disaster. In my previous group in the core database development, it was fantastic.

      Work life balance, flexible timings, Oracle is well known for job security. Work from home option can be utilized well, no cap on it.

      Cons

      Knowledge gain, work quality. Here most employees does copy paste modify jobs. All infrastructure is present, copy existing code, modify for new requirement.
