Pros

*Strong brand recognition. *Strong products to position. *Decent compensation. *Plenty of room to grow if you're willing to hustle. *Great training. Training has significantly improved over the past 5 years. *As soon as Oracle is on your resume prepare to be hounded by recruiters.

Cons

A lot of college hires mixed with professional hires which can be off putting to those with a lot of experience. High stress. If you're assigned a tough patch it's likely you won't hit your OTE (especially in year 1). Rising in the company is extremely difficult if you do not hit quota. Territory - like most companies - is luck of the draw.

Good pay, great benefits, lots of resources to leverage, work from home, fair balance of travel, regional offices everywhere makes it easy to have a place to work

Cons

Need to pre-approval travel, big machine to navigate, lots of ongoing training but not a ton of support up front, commitment to product, tons of technology to master to do just something that should be straightforward
