Pros

none. Oracle is not a place to work. A bad choice

Cons

Arrogant people, bad HR and most of all, no focus. They just have a database that sells, and the rest is junk. However they bribe their ways into most government orders and make their money. The company should be thoroughly investigated for it's actions and source of funds.

Stability, Not too much pressure. Good facilities to socialize and network to get things at oracle. Some smart peers with great achievements.

Cons

Too much beaureaucracy and red tapism. Inefficiency because of old school methods of management. Business needs to be more aggressive.

Pros

-Good name, catchy on resume -Has medical/health benefits

Cons

-Good initial offer but no increase after -Very big company, leader on field, bought so many companies but has no budget for compensation for employees, they can't even give a budget for a Christmas party -Very poor management, managers depend on their subordinates. They can't even do their own jobs. Some are incompetent! It is by title that they are managers, but not by thinking and by decision making skills. Some do not even know who their subordinates are. How can an employee be promoted if his manager does not even have the effort of observing, knowing and evaluating his subordinates? -Hired managers from other companies change the inside processes of the company. They pull off so many changes which are irrelevant and not beneficial. They act like they know everything but the truth is that they don't know a thing about how things are run before they even arrived in the company. -They don't have any retention plans, they are okay with dissatisfied employees leaving because they know they can easily hire new employees. -If you are looking for career advancement, this is not the place for you.
