      Pros

      You set your own hours, RRSP matching, stock purchase plan, good benefits.

      Cons

      Culture is horrible. Oracle has created the type of culture where employees steal from each other at any given opportunity. There is so much turnover from management and sales that its hard to find anyone that knows what they are doing. The OMC doesn't give raises. It doesn't matter if you have been there 5 years and have always over performed. If you want to be paid market value, you need to leave and get rehired.

      Amsterdam is a vibrant city

      Cons

      - promises made by German recruitment cannot be met - relocation package used to get people here and trap them - job reality is not what was promised - management team not supportive - money terrible - expect to live of base salary - if you can do anything else with your life - don't consider this position

      Pros

      Unlimited sick time I suppose. Seriously I know people that call out almost once a week. It's nearly impossible to get fired.

      Cons

      ZERO opportunity for internal advancement. You will never get a raise. Even if you get promoted they are not going to give you a raise. There is no benefit to putting more than minimal effort into your work, you're not getting rewarded. Everyone eventually figures this out and does less, so the few people that do work get buried and quit. It's a race to the bottom. Oracle managers have no power to reward or punish. They are perhaps the most useless people on the face of the earth.
