Pros

-Great Benefits -Amazing work/life balance -High salary -Room for growth (kind of)

Cons

Oracle is a behemoth. You are 1 of 136,000 employees. As an SDR, your role is to reach out to current and potential Oracle customers, along with 1000+ other SDRs, a handful of which will have the same accounts. Your job is to call and email incessantly, and the role becomes monotonous very, very quickly. Transparency is lacking, very difficult to make any sort of suggestion for improvement to company processes.

Pros

Because most SDR's are hired through the "Class Of" Program, you are surrounded by fun, young, and ambitious people. There are lots of little perks like 2 work from home days per month and access to a nice gym.

Cons

The way Oracle is structured is extremely inefficient. You are expected to make huge sales, however field and more tenured sales reps take priority, so if they are talking to an account, you are not allowed to touch it. You can feel like a number sometimes at a big company like Oracle, so it is hard to want to show up for work when you feel like you are not valued/needed.

Pros

-The "Class Of" BDC program builds strong relationships among 100+ college grads, which makes for a top notch social environment. Every day at the office is a day with friends. -Outstanding benefits, strong brand, in-house sales training program for employees. -Excellent work/life balance.

Cons

-Cannibalistic sales organization. Roles meant to work together have conflicting goals, directly influencing deception and harmful rather than healthy competition. It's a dog-eat-dog experience. -Managers do not seem invested in the individual. -Overall atmosphere is about making the sale, not helping the customer.
