Pros

1. People have a good attitude and I have met some technically very sound guys here. 2. Not much politics among co-workers (Developers). Can't say the same for managers. 3. If you are good at "self-motivation" then its like extended school. Online library subscriptions will help you in all the ways if you want to learn newer things.

Cons

1. Salary hikes and growth: Man forget about it. Its better you work here for learning things and look for other possibilities in industry. In this area oracle India is like govt jobs. All are same. Whether you work or sleep all the time. 2. The work profile is I don't know very crippled. After completely dedicating yourself to the work, its like you are not gaining anything technically as a developer. Although it depends heavily on person to person.

Pros

work life balance is amazing. You can crawl, walk, run, whatever you like. Of course, if you work hard you will be rewarded. The HQ campus is amazing, probably the most beautiful of all Bay Area companies. Thy gym is super awesome, and food is top notch. All product development teams have a program for recent college grads called Oracle College Hires (OCH). Free trips to Reno, white water rafting, free lunches, social mixers with all other college hires, wine and beer socials, cruises and crazy events every week! As a college grad, you will know more than a 100 people just like you within the first month. Great program to keep college grads here, amazing perks and something you would never expect at a B2B Enterprise company.

Cons

Incremental raises are small. If you want to get a big salary hike, consider switching teams / rolls. Job title and Salaries aren't correlated. The best best to getting a big salary is to leave and join back. Recent hires get a very competitive salary. which is larger than that of people with 3-5 years experience!
