      Pros

      Stable company with lots of smart and capable people. Steady business. Plenty of good work groups within the company.

      Cons

      Massive company. Old-fashioned and hierarchical, especially strange for a tech firm. Top-down decision making. Salary increases only for top performers. Not interested in career paths for experienced employees. Staff turnover is encouraged.

      Pros

      Larry Ellison still has a high touch in the company. Without him, don't know what will happen. Company is good with catching up even if behind so something wrt to execution is still right. There are good technical folks. Product mgmt was for most part missing from sight.

      Cons

      Pretty big, a lot of visibility wont be there with other group and what they are doing. Among the larger companies, not perceived as high as google, facebook, amazon etc.
