Business Outlook
Pros
Solution Engineers are product demo experts. They don't carry a quota. We get paid 1.5x for OT over 40 hours. Travel some, enough to be interesting but not overwhelming at all. Direct managers are not helicopters. Good long term outlook and prospects for the company. Plenty of slow months for good work/life balance.
Cons
The sprints at EoQ can be long and overwhelming. Deep work on multiple customer accounts concurrently with multiple leads can get confusing. Must be comfortable with public presentations and good stage presence. "Sales" and "Management" have opportunities for improvement, can be chaotic and unorganized. Must advocate for yourself or can get lost.
