* You will end up lagging behind when it comes to upgrading yourself in terms of skill/technology * You will sometimes end up without a hike for over 2-3 years in a row * Your sincere & honest hard work will neither be noticed nor rewarded * Each level of management hierarchy is clueless about the company's roadmap and disconnected from their immediate hierarchy's goals * Not a place to be if you expect to grow up both in terms of skills & career * Not employee friendly when it comes to perks/rewards/promotions * Long term stay in the company will ruin your technical skills

Can be fun, colleagues are all right, perks and benefits are OK. 401(k) has Brokeragelink and Roth options.

Cons

Raises, even cost of living bumps, are rare. So make sure you negotiate the highest salary you can when joining. It will erode quickly. Management isn't really interested in helping you develop your career. Turnover is high. Dry promotions are a thing (promotion without a raise).
