      Pros

      Ability to work remotely, decent benefits, flexible hours, good easy paycheck. Not much more to say here but need 20 words minimum in this section.

      Cons

      Crushing bureaucracy, limited career growth for young motivated engineers, foolish use of sub-standard Oracle products when competition is much better.

      Pros

      An stint at Oracle, on your resume, makes getting future jobs easier. You work with some very bright people and that helps you greatly, especially if you are beginning a new career. It pays to work for an industry leader in the Enterprise Software space. Oracle has great benefits in addition to a competitive salary.

      Cons

      As with most large corporations, there is a little bit of bureaucracy. In terms of headcount, there is very little organic growth and that diminishes advancement opportunities as you move up the ladder. Work life balance can get skewed at times. Working for groups, which deal with mature product/features, will lead to stunted professional growth.
