Pros

Has good infrastructure and diverse projects in Banking sector.

Cons

Company makes false promises for gaining projects without considering comfort level of employee and forces employees to work on platforms in which they are not interested hampering there productivity and Career in specific domain. Very less onsite opportunities to new people as there is no rotation system. Also substandard payment to OFSS employees than standard Oracle payment worldwide. Employees need managers personal recommendation for promotions & other opportunities which are not in any ways considered on work basis & are instead based on managers personal views about individuals. On asking for opportunities management asks you about your skill-set which can only be on paper and cannot be fully developed as no hands on would be provided in any case. Also individuals having good personal touch with managers are considered for onsite opportunities even if they are not trained or even if they work on different domain than what is required. The appraisal cycle is too lousy and appraisals which are initiated at end of first quarter complete at 4th or last quarter with substandard hike in salary. Individuals are transferred to other locations as Chennai/Bangalore without consent of employee without giving a thought on the employees side.

Pros

The work from home option is the best i can think of, as it allows you to spend time with your family....and the flex time, plus the technology you get to work with and the ability to move between groups....that's about it.

Cons

Pay raises are non existent. Thats pretty discouraging when the CEO gets $500 million in cashed stock options....and forget about bonuses....only certain employee levels are entitled to bonuses and those are "discretionary"...They also have this rule that you have to be in a position for certain amount of time prior to being considered for a promotion...like longevity means anything? Promote people based on performance....HR also says they consistently perform market analysis of salaries to ensure they are competitive, that's a laugh....They are competitive in a good economy, otherwise, forget it.

Pros

Good benefits, the ability to work from home at any time. The company is a major global workforce, and a majority of teams consist of members that live in different states in the US. The cafeteria serves decent food, drinks are free and the health gym is excellent for blowing off steam

Cons

Low Pay, if you get hired initially, negotiate a higher starting salary...a majority of people NEVER get pay raises for 2 or even 3 years, which is shameful for a company this size. They do have the money, and they do have the process, so I am not sure why they keep insisting on keeping their employees down. Career opportunities are mediocre, you are able to move internally to any group, but promotions are hard to come by.
