      Giant monster company you can disappear into for awhile

      Pros

      Supposedly there are opportunities to move around quite a bit within Oracle, but it's not as easy as Larry or his ilk let on.

      Cons

      Higher ups do not care about you at all. Oracle acquires companies and then pits them against each other within the organization. You are led to believe you are working on a great product, but then out of the blue, you are kicked to the curb because some other product being worked on in parallel wins some 'competition' you don't know about.

      Lot of new technologies to learn.Great opportunity to learn about lot of new things every day. A challenging work place.

      Cons

      Less increments or pay revision. Non realistic project deadlines often leads to stressful life. Less fun activities or recreation facilities.
