I loved the atmosphere of Oracle. I came to work here straight out of college, and the Oracle Class of SE program helped me meet lots of bright, similar-minded people like me.

Cons

- pay is a lot less than the industry average - lots of downtime, you have to be really proactive and communicate with your higher ups to make sure you get work - lots of re-orgs

Great people good products good culture and work/life balance

Cons

known they pay less than competitors very low chance for a raise, even after years with the company. It is "known" that you can only get a raise with a promotion, and some people have been with the company 6+ years before getting promoted. And even then, the raise oyu are likely to get is less than you could get from a competitor.
