Pros
1. You get a very good offer. 2. You are given simple tasks. 3. You can have a peaceful life with good work life balance if you are in the right team. 4. Lesser layoffs compared to US counterparts. 5. Outpatient and insurance facilities. 6. There is no onboarding as such for newer employees. Creates a lot of pressure.
Cons
1. No major hikes. Negotiate maximum initially. 2. Your visibility is almost zero unless you work really really hard. And it is difficult to get that kind of tasks because there are a lot of people in most orgs. 3. There are some toxic teams that harass freshers and new team members.
