      Pros

      Top-end Consulting is one of 3 divisions; other two being, Product [FlexCube] Development, and software Services division. I belong to Consulting division focusing on Banking IT. There is tremendous amount of learning in banking IT sector and exposure to banks across the world make one a niche consultant on par with Big-4 and similar Firms with IT consulting practice.

      Cons

      Aggressive sale-force is needed. HR, Admin and other support services do not really provide any support and are show-irritants bringing no value to the table.

      OK Projects, only one good team in 5 years, inexperienced Project Managers and long time consultants set in their ways.

      Pros

      Oracle offers a good benefits package at a great price. The medical, dental, life and disability are some of the best you can find and the cost is very low in comparison to other consulting firms. I can't think of other good reasons to work for Oracle. Awesome deal if you travel and are paid hourly as a Senior Consultant.

      Cons

      Slow to give pay increases even after the company is making money and increased license sales quarter after quarter. Slow to recognize employee's for their hard work and consultants are encouraged to work in areas outside their skill set creating unfavorable work conditions and poor representation to customers.
