Finally taking UX moves; a lot of tech debts though

Pros

WLB; Nice teammates and management; lots of new things happening to UX; designers have the rights to say (not in OCI; OCI have their own designers' org)

Cons

Less competitive TC comparing with other same-scale companies (yep, dry promo and almost no yearly bonus). It's not long since Oracle started to hire UX designers and integrate UX into product development, so there are definitely a lot of legacy features are framed in the outdated design system that need to be redesigned. This becomes obvious when they try to switch to a new design system (Redwood). Clearly UX is still understaffed and needs more budget to attract better designers (to come or stay).

Most positions are flexible with working remotely indefinitely and there's opportunities to improve the product.

Cons

They don't have the best practices for project management and design process in place. Designs can be very restricted by the components and page templates of the design system.
