Pros

It was once a reputable company with a great culture

Cons

The working conditions for the staff are deplorable, with overworked and underpaid employees teetering on the edge of mental breakdowns. The owner's reliance on continuous layoffs as a band-aid solution reflects poor decision-making and leadership, negatively impacting numerous lives. The heartbreak continues as hardworking and passionate employees are let go, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty and instability. Adding to the frustration, unachievable targets and quotas are set, with 'current' leadership unable to demonstrate how they can be met. The disconnect between expectations and reality is glaring, as the Head and Team Lead dictates actions without providing practical guidance. To add insult to injury, there is no increase in the base pay of tenured representatives, while the company shamelessly advertises higher salaries on job posts on platforms like LinkedIn. This dissonance between promises and actions is nothing short of a cruel joke. In summary, my experience with has been marked by a toxic work environment, questionable leadership decisions, and a disregard for the well-being of dedicated employees. I sincerely hope these issues are addressed for the sake of current and future team members.

Pros

Company has few benefits but isn't noteworthy at all

Cons

as someone who worked in the company for a very long time, I realized that Outgive company never gives value to their employee despite the Values they always advertised, I know someone(my coworker) who got laid off due to a very simple reason and just because the manager doesn't like the person despite his/her contribution and high performance. the company seems to be promising however, they would try to kick you out by looking or creating fault on you and will hire someone else for that. I've also noticed that their retention rate isn't good at all, they would hire someone for a week and would lay them off after(base on the experience of my friend who I referred), their KPI metrics for measuring performance is base on the opinion of the head, no proper training is given despite knowing that they are hiring a newbie as well. They don't give second chances or doesn't think twice firing someone. All the reviews on the platform or different job platform are scripted, made by their superior and directing their staff to give positive review as a requirement to their duty.

Pros

They set the benchmark as to how you should respect your employees and show appreciation. First time experiencing being treated with some dignity and the paid leaves were okay.

Cons

It's true that you're underpaid (just a few thousand away from the Philippine minimum wage), and for an international company, this can be very disappointing. They also give objectives (word counts) that do not build me as a writer and highly contradict the way I am expected to write. It's their way of telling us to write more. In the new company I'm in, they have the decency of paying me an American minimum wage. I've never been this happy to resign from Outgive.
