Pros

They set the benchmark as to how you should respect your employees and show appreciation. First time experiencing being treated with some dignity and the paid leaves were okay.

Cons

It's true that you're underpaid (just a few thousand away from the Philippine minimum wage), and for an international company, this can be very disappointing. They also give objectives (word counts) that do not build me as a writer and highly contradict the way I am expected to write. It's their way of telling us to write more. In the new company I'm in, they have the decency of paying me an American minimum wage. I've never been this happy to resign from Outgive.

Employees can work flexibly and the company is always open to suggestions. Friendly employees and admins.

Cons

As everyone's working remotely, nothing beats the reality of personal interaction but the team is already working on activities getting the local team to meet each other personally, once this pandemic has ended.
