Pros

A great opportunity to get exposure to the CRO atmosphere. Can work from home. Worked with great people.

Cons

The company has a LOT of turnover. There are people quitting every week. So work is constantly being transitioned back and forth in between employees. The company doesn't seem to have a problem with all of this turnover and have made no effort to improve pay, work load, etc. in order to keep the good employees that they do have. Hiring practices aren't very consistent either. You could have someone with a lot less qualifications than you working in a senior position over you. You can either have a very large amount of work or none at all. Nothing in between. The salary and benefits are not as good as other CROs.

Pros

Good salaries in general. Job is interesting and offers opportunities to evolve. International environnement. Young colleagues and fun atmosphere. I made good friends here. Good facilities

Cons

PPD was a great place to work, 3 years ago. Annual Salary increase was satisfying but now it is very poor, almost insulting. My job is being sent to Bulgaria, India...because it is cheaper there...also insulting Upper management focused on EBIDTA results only. EBIDTA is never good enough and employees need to push themselves more to achieve it...but no more motivation and a lots of frustration. I have stoped to work long hours because there is no reward or recognition at the end. I am very disappointed in this company because it is just about making more profit, and cut the costs more and more...

Pros

You can Learn a lot in a short period, you have the opportunity to touch many different areas. But it mostly relays on your self-learning.

Cons

Too much work, too little appreciation. Work as a contractor, but paid as a part time. No work-life balance. If you have no relation, then you need to work hard but only get some soup. If you have relation, you can retire there pretty much without doing anything.
