Good working atmosphere in the labs and site services department, many opportunities to work in a matrix, international environment. PPD pays well (I'm middle management) and offers a lot of advantages such as company car, smarphone, health insurance, pension plan...
Cons
If you're middle management and above, your manager will probably be in the US, so communication is not always seamless. High turnover when it comes to top management. Department goals are very ambiguous, sometimes you wonder where you're going. Do not expect to have a good work/private life balance. Several cases of burnout and resignations during the last year. Follow-up of your career expectations (including scientific and intellectual interests) is inexistant.
