Pros

Most associates are aged 22-30 at bench level, which makes a friendly work environment. Hours are flexible, with reasonable PTO and OT pay. Excellent opportunity to develop graduates.

Cons

Pay is less than industry average, and depending on how productive you are (or company oriented) it like any place can limit your promotion potential.

Great group of young scientists.

Everything else. Overworked underpaid and when deadlines aren't met the company puts the blame on the scientists.

Pros

Enjoyed my time in clinical management. Progression was possible for good results but only up to a certain level.

Cons

My time at PPD deteriorated when I moved out of clinical, to progress my career. It depends which department you work in and who you line manager is. I found some of the US colleagues very difficult to work with.
