      Pros

      So far I am very happy with my choice to join PPD. I feel valued and appreciated and the clinical management team members are great!

      Cons

      HR would not negotiate my starting salary and did not offer a hiring bonus and my HR contact sounded as if she could care less if I accepted their offer to join the company or not. It did not feel very welcoming or like they were excited to have me personally. It was more like, here's an offer, accept it or we'll offer it to anyone else. My experience with HR was disappointing and it wasn't the best start. I actually considered turning down the offer. I think it reflects negatively on the company.

      Pros

      Employee Training is great. LMS system is easy to use and there are always new trainings to jump in on.

      Cons

      Employee Advancement Opportunities Salary increases and jumps with promotions are very low compared to industry: bottom 20%. Travel is not very regionalized, even if they tell you it is. East Coast is everything from Chicago down to Louisiana and east. No north/south dividers. Will send you to Midwest or West Coast on a permanent site assignment without blinking. Also, they're sending US employees overseas to train their replacements in Bulgaria and India. 2 months after training, the U.S. Employee receives a notice of job termination--we're an international company after all.

      Pros

      Co workers are great, no work to take home , get as much overtime as you want . I'm hearing that job opportunities are great after PPD trains you... It is a great training portal.

      Cons

      Poor directives from management, they have No Idea what there doing! They make poor decisions and are very unorganized.
