Pros

A lot of freedom through the workday as long as your work is getting done and nothing is behind turnaround time. The workload can be anywhere from nothing to do, to working from the minute you walk into the minute you leave it really just varies.

Cons

When you first start and don't have any experience you really have no idea what they are training you on or expecations on what the job really entails. Other cons are at PPD you are underpaid compared to other companies and what they paid at entry level.

Very good starting position if trying to get into a science related job without a college degree. On the job training is required for all employees so it gives you knowledge needed to work for the company.

Cons

Need multiple years of experience and/or a degree to be considered for upward mobility. Your daily tasks for this position is strictly trash removal and cleaning up after higher positions in a lab setting.
