Very stressful, treated like a number. PPD went down hill when it was sold.

Company has ability to hire good talent. Staff are friendly and nice. Staff care about quality.

Cons

Mgmt does not show appreciation to staff. More work to accomplish then available staff. Work is being sent to other countries a very sad!

Pros

Some of the coworkers there were the best coworkers around. Learned a lot of different skills. That's about it.

Cons

Management. They will promote just about anybody whether or not you are qualified. Overworked. Not enough employees for the amount of work they have. High stress job and you will get no help from your supervisor. No work life balance. Low pay. I quit as soon as another opportunity came to be.

Pros

Hire home-based employees with no previous monitoring experience, as long as the background implies that the candidate is trainable for CRA work. Also, I'm not usually traveling so much that I get burnt out. For me, the work-life balance has been fine. I do believe that my line manager and my CTMs have a lot to do with that. Expense reporting simple and completely online. No mailing in receipts.

Cons

Pay, pay pay. Low on the scale. They are also starting to get a little excessive with tracking billable time. I really think they need to budget their studies a little better and get off the backs of the CRAs who are already handling a lot of work.
