- Working hours allow a healthy Work-life balance - Japanese work mentality: seeking for harmony and consensus as opposed to the elbow and hire & fire mentality of American companies - Company pays attention to the core values laid out by the company founder - Friendly and open-minded people - Commitment and dedication is acknowledged

- Company undergoes transformation from a b2c to a b2b oriented company - Insufficient English skills of some Japanese expatriates - Key positions tend to be filled by Japanese expatriates - Wrong perception that it is an honour to work for Panasonic and hence not requiring to adequately compensating employees
