Pros

Easy to get a job when your a daisy fresh A&P (airframe and powerplant mechanic on airplanes), Good people willing to offer OJT to help you learn, Exciting work environment (you get to work on several different airlines aircraft) One of the largest players in the IFE game.

Cons

Company is very cheap (they don't like to buy essential tools to get the job done like laptops, even though they manufacture some of the best laptops around (toughbooks), Promotions are hard to come by, unless you are a favorite, You will do the same job over and over with little new tasks added

A company that has fallen out of flavor by employees

Pros

- a big company and can appreciate the complexity of managing it. - the founder konosuke matsushita who is considered to be the god of management.

Cons

- talented staffs come and go fast as there are no efforts to groom or retain them. - the non-talented ones get promoted as they could not leave. - management have habit of not taking responsibility for mistakes and pushing problems around. when success happens, they will be quick to take credit from staffs. this is a culture. - they are cutting staffs and restructuring, avoid this company if you would like to have a fulfilling career. even in japan, Panasonic has dropped out of the top 100 companies graduates would like to work for.
