Cons
Panasonic is a company in transition moving from consumer electronics to business solutions. Recalibrating the business is painful for most and particularly for the high percentage of lifers who have seen so much change over the years. Japanese management is headed in the right direction, but still emphasizes box-selling. Comp plans, internal systems, org charts, and other normal business pillars are often in flux. Knowledge management and collaboration are particularly difficult. Lotus Notes and SalesLogix make the company difficult for newbies.
