Cons
Lost it's way with the bribery scandal and exit of CEO Paul Margis. Ongoing churn of executives with no aviation industry experience and shutdown of internal promotions, leading to ever-changing corporate goals and culture. Also, poorly disguised effort to eliminate operations outside of the SoCal region whenever possible. This is most obvious in the tendency to hire replacements for exiting employees at other locations to work at corporate headquarters, leading to massively understaffed departments at other locations. Additionally, paths to promotions outside of HQ have been mostly eliminated. Long term company employment of 20+ years is now pretty much a thing of the past.
