      Good place to work if working for free is your goal!

      Pros

      The company does provide good benefits for its employees. And you will get two free pairs of shoes each year for work.

      Cons

      You will make very little money for the work that is expected or rather demanded from you. You are expected o work 50hrs a week but your salary is based on 40hrs. The 10hrs of overtime that is basically required you still make an average rate of $10/hr. There is no holiday pay for all the holidays that you work, which is all of them except Christmas Day. For working holidays you get $100 at the end of the year for all 7 of the holidays for which they are required by law to compensate you. Don't take this job of you have kids or want to have any life outside of work.

      Pros

      Recognizable branded products that people trust.

      Cons

      Weak management in the Foodservice division. My last manager liked to use scare tactics to improve performance. She was always looking for someone to blame for her team missing targets. My manager had cloudy visions at best of what success looks like. She was more concerned with how her career could move forward and her outfit then helping anyone else. If you are weak and have little to say you will do great at this company. Constant behind the scenes battles between Foodservice and Retail divisions. The majority of the focus and resources go to the retail side. Too much turn and burn at HQ, especially finance. Most of the higher ups at HQ really have no clue about what happens on the streets.

      Pros

      Stable company with good benefits 100 % commission is steady and not extremely seasonal Pay is decent unless you divide it by the hours your work

      Cons

      Very long hours Management takes no interest in thoughts of front line workers Employees are expected to never be ill or to have family situations arise There is never anyone available to cover if necessary
