Good Job For Young People - This Job Will Wear You Out Fast!

Pros

Great corporate culture. Fair wages. Liberal benefit plan. It is possible to go for several shifts without interacting with any other PBG employees. This is a great job if you don't like dealing with coworkers regularly. Employees keep track of their own hours and mileage.

Cons

Very physical work. No matter how good of shape you are in, this will leave you drained at the end of the day. Long hours during summer. You are expected to have your stores stocked to the max at all times regardless of sales volume. If a store sells out of product after your shift this is still your fault! Pepsi Bottling expects you to live the job.

Great for college students in need of work 10-20 hours every other weekend Respectable pay Good group of people to work with

Cons

Not for those who enjoy sleeping in on their weekends (start around 6am) Can be quite physically demanding Pressure to get the jobs done quickly and properly

if your a kid out of high school, it will help you pay your bills

Cons

you will get trapped there, it will wreck your body, mind and self esteem. as years go by you will be expected to bow to their every whim. expect to make less and less money as they raise their prices higher and downsize bags. The pay you will receive does not even keep up with inflation. What am I saying, they are inflation! and greedy
