Pros

PepsiCo is a great company to work for for many reasons. The company takes great lengths to show how much they appreciate and support their employees with various programs to accommodate every need, offer various employee resource groups, activities etc. Some key highlights with the company are as follows Diversity and Inclusion programs Promotions from within 18-24 months Opportunity to create your on career path Great opportunity to learn at a well respected global organization

Cons

At any company there are downsides of working there. At PepsiCo for Finance jobs there is a disconnect with the expectation of the gold standard yesterday and compensation. Additionally, there are some inefficiencies which create unnecessary fire drill/stressful work environments that could have been avoided.

Pros

Great place to start a career. Projects are interesting and there are a lot of good folks who work for the company. Lots of career opportunities abound throughout the divisions and the people are very dedicated to their work. Solid brands and a lot of great people who believe in these brands. Employees receive free beverages and/or snacks at their workplace, which is a nice yet inexpensive perk. Local management is very receptive to employee input and really wants to try to make a difference. Senior leadership has improved many things in the past few years that I have been here.

Cons

Benefits have gone downhill in the past few years are more costs are passed onto employees. Concerned that pension may not be around much longer. Work-life balance is frequently discussed but rarely backed up by management. Internal corporate communication is good but we could use more that flows to all levels of the company. Senior leadership should be more visible to the "rank and file" folks within the company. SAP is an interesting system. Promotions are done in a manner that is a mystery to many employees along with employee rankings and reviews each year - have yet to figure this out.

Pros

You start out with a very challenging upbeat attitude but after the first year as you have worked for the company 60 hours a week you quickly realize that being part of Pepsico is all a big hype. You are not the best and brightest you are just someone making the idiot that you report insure he/she recieve their bonus for that year.

Cons

Poor Communication within the Management group please see the previous comment on what I like about Pepsico.
