      "Ambiguity"

      Pros

      There are still few people with decades of experience who can get things done. But they are going extinct after rounds and rounds of redundancy.

      Cons

      Knowledge disappears as those guys were replaced by inexperienced "leaders" who just Talk the Walk and never Walk the Talk. It gets worse when the higher ups thought outsourcing the work, or 'GBS' would solve the problem. Existing employees would likely get 'unable to handle ambiguity' in their appraisals because that's what their supervisors are getting from their higher ups on their own appraisals.
