      lax day to day as project timelines are expected to slip and products to fail...

      Cons

      management sugarcoats as it goes up the chain so at directer level they think everything is fine when in the weeds you can see the product is failing and in need of recall.

      Old technology stack and no work life balance(CT team)

      Pros

      1- Good HR policies like unlimited sick leave, 2 month Paternity leave etc.

      Cons

      1- No work life balance. Last 1 year I was working around 12 hours per day even most of the times in weekend. 2- Managers are not aware how to handle the project. They keep pressuring the employees. 3- Technology stack is very old. Do not expect to learn any thing new if you are working in Install base team you will always reading the the logs to figureout the problems. 4- Bad increment(4~6%) 5-Project is unstable frequent issues are reported and new employees are facing lot of issues during rampup. 6- Very few people have complete domain knowlege.(2 people) 7- Lot of dependendncy if you need to change a single line of code. 8- Still working in clear case for repository. 9- Lot of politics. 10- You need to become developer cum tester if you joining the philips.

      A once-good company trending downward

      Pros

      I worked in Oral Healthcare (Seattle, WA, USA area) for several years doing device development. - Interesting work despite being toothbrushes - Sense of pride from helping people - Good company culture - Matching 401k, health benefits, etc.

      Cons

      - Recent leadership changes have the company in a tailspin - Campus is not exceptional if that is important to you - Compensation does not compete with other companies in the area in terms of salary or stock options - Very little room for advancement
