      Good Company Constant Layoffs since moving to Nashville

      Pros

      The pay, benefits, and flexiblty are all great. If you want to make money fast and in a short term this is the place.

      Cons

      No stability. I've been here since the company moved to Nashville and there have been numerous layoffs and constant change of manangement either due to resignation or layoffs.

      Medical Device Company that cannot sells solutions

      Pros

      Smart people are not allowed to truly reach their potential and a company that has all the potential in the world but constantly gets in the way of itself.

      Cons

      Netherlands based company trying to operate in the United States. Medical equipment vendor who cannot sell strategic solutions. Their hiring process and HR is one of the worst I have encountered in the industry. Strictly marketing customer success stories your here over and over again. Managers that are not leaders and they spend to much time on busy work and not selling their solutions.

      Pros

      There's a lot of diversity with people from all over the world. Mostly young so it's still fun kind of like grad school. Lots of work to figure out the problems in the health care system to make it better. It's work you can be proud of.

      Cons

      Leadership is not very diverse and it's not clear how to get promoted because their accomplishments aren't obvious. Advice can be unhelpful because it's judged based on your appearance. Projects don't really go anywhere because business units are risk averse and have no institutional grasp of AI. It's deflating sometimes. Tech infrastructure is a joke but research doesn't go into production anyway. My grad school had better engineering.
