Smart, kind, and collaborative people, who really care about the company's mission (evolving healthcare to improve patient outcomes and increase shareholder value). Appear to be addressing the inefficiencies that have stood in their way with their Accelerate strategy (see earnings releases)

Cons

Struggling to change an inefficient and bureaucratic legacy. Ongoing downsizing over last four years. Unclear whether Accelerate can reverse the decline.

Philips is a diverse company with offices throughout the World which leads to endless opportunity.

Cons

Opportunities are only present if you are able to relocate to certain offices. Unless you are able to relocate, HR functions do not have as many growth opportunities as other functions such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, etc. would have.
