Pros

International company provides nation wide and international opportunities. Although most of data center staff has been outsourced, there are some remaining Philips IT departments. Most co-workers are great! Opportunity to explore newer technologies and skills.

Cons

Some employees were not team oriented and allowed to negatively impact environment. Data center staff outsourced.

The Company has been trying to find its territory and meaningful proposition for a few years. As a large conglomerate, it's found the process to be hard and deep. It has made good improvenments and, importantly, has kept a strong focus on making sense of it internally and externally.

Cons

On the flip side, it still has improvenments to make regarding simplifying its matrix, multi-level structure to become a faster, less complex organization. Also, fierce competition in some key consumer segments have impacted a few core businesses.
