Pros

Philips invested heavily on training, education. I enjoyed my colleagues and knowing that our products saved lives. You are surrounded by subject matter experts and people willing to share. Lots of opportunities if you join the right product/services line.

Cons

Near constant restructuring at the Business Group/ Business Unit level means a change in direction/priorities constantly. This is soul crushing for those pouring their hearts into products and services. Software implementations meant a lot of travel to non-glamourous locations and work/life balance was not optimal. Working for an FDA regulated device means lots of restrictive processes that stagnate creativity, innovation and growth. I'd recommend asking if the product/device is under FDA's purview during the interview.
