Pros
It is always a plus working at a company that creates products that save lives and improve the quality of life for others. Philips takes good care of its employees, with many opportunities for conferences, field visits, and other non-work educational experiences. The work is challenging and requires a high level of adaptability, which keeps everyone sharp.
Cons
The employee review system can be intimidating. A piece of advice I have received from seasoned employees: (to paraphrase) They won't make a software engineer a manager. Especially not a good one.
