Cons
oh my god where do I begin, induction day is terrible and drags with it mostly consisting of you watching several videos FOR 8 HOURS. management is just so unorganised, often times we had so much over stock even with the limited space in the stock room, they bully around the workers, just sit in their offices and only come out to boss people around. first few days of work and i got counselling for clocking in with my coat on which no one even told me in my induction day and they make you stay longer than your hours of work on soo many occasions and are literally only nice to you when asking for overtime. on my floor it was hardly ever busy which meant time just dragged on there was never much to do since there was so much staff, we would get shouted at if we just made friendly small talk with other colleagues on the floor at even if everything was in perfect condition and everything was right and there was nothing to do. They will shout at you right in front of customers even for the smallest mistake, one of my colleagues who was new at the time just like me got shouted at so loudly right as the customer stood in front of them all because she accidentally gave £1 extra change and it was only her 2nd shift not only that but there is no sense of independence at all you constantly have to call your superviser if on tills since we are literally are not trusted with anything its only been like a month and I am ready to quit i do not recommend it. Even if other shops pay bit less go with them at least you won't be treated like dogs
