Pros

The best things in this place are: nice staff, usually lots of overtimes and flexible working hours available

Cons

very rude customers who think if you work for Primark you are a piece of sh.it; the management doesn't care about their employees, treat them like robots, and always complain about everything; no staff discount; poor pay

Pros

Colleagues were very friendly. Pay was above the minimum wage. Supervisors were supportive of the staff. Looking back was an overall okay experience.

Cons

Management were beyond unreasonable, once kept behind to make sure all the piles of clothes were pulled literally millimetres forward. They also made getting a day off extremely difficult for anything. Supervisor who conducted my interview did not pass on any of the dates I couldn't work to management. Management blamed myself and generally felt like they held it against me. Management had no concept of having lives outside of the work place, people were given shifts on days they had exams etc and management would try to force them to work around. No benefits bar the 10% off that we had to use between 8-9am and 5-6pm in the two weeks before Christmas.

Pros

Plenty of overtime, easy to meet new people, the pay is relatively good and it's incredibly easy to get a job there.

Cons

Members of the Public don't care about you, management don't really care about you and only about their pay check. no real room for progression and the job offers no challenge as it's very easy. Also you only get a discount for one month of the year and it's not even the whole month.
