Pros

Paid time and a half on Sundays (Ireland only), and paid well above the minimum wage. They had a really strong Union which looked after the staff and was encouraged to do so by management

Cons

No flexibility in shifts, if you want a day covered you had to fill in an online form two weeks in advance and it may not be approved even if you had cover.

Pros

Good development if you're willing to work hard for it. Locations in many places mean it's easy to swap stores if you have supportive management.

Cons

You are constantly expected to go above and beyond including the hours and general flexibility. You can also suffer from having very little support depending who your management are.
