Pros

I can not think of at least one moment working at Primark where I didn't want to jump out of the nearest window.

Cons

If you ever have the misfortune of ever working at the Trinity store in Leeds, you'll find out very quickly you're nothing but cattle, delegated meaningless and pointless roles by incompetent managers who fulfil their time thinking of ways they can pretend like they have something to do. My biggest concern here if you already haven't guessed is management. The disparity between colleague roles and managers roles is enormous. I'm not being unrealistic here. Obviously, you're given tasks that have to be done, that's a given and is fundamental to how any business operates, however it's when these tasks are completed, or if you have a conversation whilst doing these tasks you'll be condemned quickly. I was once told to finger space clothes on the railings. Yes, you saw that correct, finger space. Create a space between each and every individual hanger in an extremely busy working environment, in the 3rd largest city in the UK. What an efficient use of my time. If you question a managers approach they'll likely point out they know what they're talking about because they're a manager, which is quite evidently a weak argument. You can't really say that without sounding rude though. Make sure you don't have anytime off work for anything other than being Ill. I took sometime doing my A levels exams, which to their horror they found disgusting. Marched in a room undergoing a police like investigation to be asked again, illogical and vague questions as to why I had time off. I understand formal policy, but when the investigation was conducted under circumstances as if I'd punched a toddler in the face shopping for some new shorts is just abit unnecessary.
