Pros

Always busy, which could be a con depending on how you look at it, but at least it's not boring.

Cons

Long hours, required to stay back to help others who have been slacking. You do get paid for any hours you do outside those contracted, but sometimes it's just not worth the money. Management need to get their hands dirty, walking around the store looking busy is not your job. I was promised quick progression, but that never materialised.

Pros

Good friendships between staff, everyone got on well, overtime available often

Cons

No shift consistency if you work weekends, pretty poor pay - doesn't support living
