Pros
Hardworking ethic required, quite formal, but there was a willingness to invest in training, basically any time I wanted to update my skills my boss would sign off on it. That was great. They treated me very well when I became ill - there was never any problem about the time off or the hospital visits following the surgery. It was clear they valued me and wanted me to get well and there would be no implications. Christmas was always great, they would treat the staff very well too. I guess, looking back, they were a great company to work for.
Cons
Some of the personalities in the company were a challenge to deal with, but that is the same everywhere.
