Pros

If you don't have any education, you can have a career in retail.

Cons

The company doesn't value its employees at all, especially the lower-level ones.

Pros

Store discount Get to meet some lovely department managers/ colleagues

Cons

Store manager - is extremely rude and I often felt patronised by her. The “training” - basically following someone around for 2 weeks watching what they’re doing with no context (what they were doing and why) also the DLP is just a PowerPoint presentation that you read through. Was constantly heavily criticised on the shop floor in front of colleagues even though I was training and had never worked retail before. This was extremely embarrassing and had eventually took a toll on my mental health.
