Pros

Other colleagues are always very nice and helpful if you are struggling with anything-I I’ve worked across two stores and this has been the case at both. Tasks are not very difficult and you are comprehensively trained beforehand to do them so it never feels like you are not prepared or do not know what you are doing. The shifts are not too short or too long and very handy if you are a student with very good pay compared to other retail stores and the hospitality sector.

Cons

You will have to work all bank holidays including Boxing Day or New Year’s Day as weekend staff. Sometimes supervisors and managers can be a little pushy in trying to get you to sign up for overtime There’s not many company benefits you get 10% off at your home store at certain times of the year about 4 times a year for about a month
