Employee Beware!

Pros

Ok pay and free products! Fast promotion if you want it. I did receive a promotion before my ordeal.

Cons

Employed by Procter & Gamble in 2020, worked for approximately 1 1/2 years until realizing that Procter & Gamble had miss reported my Social Security number due to negligence. Attempted to have the issue corrected. It took over six months to have them report the correct Social Security number. During this ordeal, I had to initiate FMLA due to my PTSD from the military. I attempted many times to have the issue corrected. During this time I was denied lunch breaks during 12 hour shifts and was told to get a lawyer if I thought it was a problem. I have incurred credit issues, etc.

Pros

- Hiring process was simple and no complicated interview process. - Shift differential (up to $3 p/h) for those willing to work night's and/or weekends. - Compensation plan (Wage Increases) were improved at the end of 2022, allowing for greater advancement opportunities. - Potential for overtime pay on a daily basis (after 8 hrs.) as opposed to having to reach 40 hrs. before receiving overtime. - Periodic opportunities for greatly reduced cost product purchases for employees only. - Numerous paid holidays, even when they land on a scheduled day off. - Good sense of comradery, co-workers always willing to assist those in need.

Cons

- Workflow can be micro-managed (amount of time allotted from pickup to drop-off of pallets) to a degree, but often times, considerations are given. - "Optional" shifts up to 12 hours can be grueling. - Can sometimes be difficult to get issues resolved through HR in a timely manner. - Sometimes "Job Related" information isn't disseminated in a timely manner, must find out the hard way. - Winter work can be quite cold inside the warehouse. - Summer work can be quite hot inside the warehouse. - "Proficiency" loading/unloading pallets can be quite challenging and take a while to master.
