Pros

Great Benefits, good work life balance, nice employees. We had casual day Fridays, free fruit once a month. Lots of Holiday potlucks and team building events.

Cons

Management seemed to only care of their well being. Very little career advancement or guidance from managers if you wanted to apply for a new role. Morale was low due to one specific manager that like to intimidate staff.

Pros

Work culture - collaborative environment without rat race. Well paid with no expectations to stay long hours. It's possible to work here 10-20 years. Company strategy is to promote from within so they try to keep retention very low.

Cons

It is not easy to quit. I.e. you start as a youngster, hired while you have little experience, then you spend first few years growing, your salary increases in a bit addictive pace, you (rightly) extrapolate your pay to next few years when comparing with jobs outside and you find yourself still in the company after 5 years. You get used to friendly environment, and accept getting detached from the outside world. After 10 years you're still around with very little self confidence that your experience is worth a lot in external world, you feel overpaid, in a golden cage. Net -- beware to not stay around too long (unless you have ambitions to get high in the hierarchy).

Pros

Great place to start your career and a fantastic business to have on your CV. Get experience of big customers and the world of FMCG. Work with exceptionally talented and intelligent people which creates a culture of ambition and hard work.

Cons

Last 2/3 years have seen significant head count reductions leaving only the people that are willing to devote their entire lives to the business left. A culture of work life balance has been replaced with everyone working ridiculous hours to try to stay afloat. Business at P&G is hugely complex thanks to the dreadful link to the Geneva head office - marketing and sales seem to be completely separate teams and the supply function has been farmed out to Eastern Europe. Morale seems low and training, feedback and support have been removed. No time for any fun!
